“You are the God who performs miracles; you display your power among the peoples" (Psalm 77: 14 NIV).

PRAYING FOR MIRACLES is a non-fiction book about Bible study, faith, prayer and miracles. Newton Walkin surveys the miracles of the Bible and shows how relevant these are in assisting Christians today when praying for miracles. The revised book has four parts: (1) deals with the person and work of the Holy Spirit and the veracity of the Bible; (2) examines the principles of intercessory prayer; (3) looks at prayers and miracles in action and (4) examines praying for freedom from bondage. At Appendix I, all thirty-seven of the miracles performed by Jesus during his earthly Ministry are listed. Appendix II has a helpful guide that takes the Bible student through a short self-study course of Bible reading which will enable the student to read the Bible easily from cover to cover in about three months. The book is useful for the general Christian reader, lay preachers, Sunday school teachers, prayer groups, intercessors, and Bible study students at university, seminary and Bible College. The book has been revised and expanded to 27 chapters and 534 pages. Praying For Miracles is printed and published in the United States of America by Xulon Press, Inc., ($26.99, paperback, ISBN:9781609570408; $38.99, hardcover, ISBN: 9781609570415),
