Cardinal N. Walkin was brought up in a Christian home. He is a member of West Croydon
Baptist Church (WCBC), Croydon, England founded by James Spurgeon in 1869. The ideas
in this book are entirely those of the author based on his research and do not represent
the views of any other church, organisation or ministry. In July 1999 Walkin had
a vision to read the Bible from cover to cover seven times which he did by March
2001. That vision gave him a passion for the Bible and also inspired his writing.
Walkin believes strongly in the awesome power of intercessory prayer offered in faith.
He believes that if our faith is strong enough we can successfully pray for miracles.
On 21 November 2004, seven months before the voting on 6 July 2005, Walkin wrote
a prayer for London to win the 2012 Olympic Bid. The prayer is shown on page 344
of his book. On page 345 there is an Olympic Prayer For Peaceful Games In 2012.
About Cardinal N.Walkin
#or Miracles
From July 1999 to December 2006, Walkin has achieved by God's generous grace, his
vision to read the Holy Bible from cover to cover twenty-one times and has documented
sixteen of his Bible readings on spreadsheets, shown in the Appendix. Although from
a Christian home, Walkin had stopped going to church when his wife Eileen encouraged
him to attend church again with her regularly. They were both baptized in March 2001
at WCBC. On that occasion 14 persons were baptized. Cardinal was an Executive Officer
in the British Civil Service and is an amateur photographer with a rich collection
of photographic scenes of landscapes, seascapes, local markets etc. Cardinal is a
business and management graduate and has gained the coveted Diploma In Marketing
of the Institute of Marketing. Before joining the Civil Service he wanted to teach
business and marketing after also gaining his PGCE from the Institute of Education
of The University Of London. However, the Civil Service beaconed and Cardinal had
a career change where he would dream each day of becoming a famous writer. Deep interest
in the Bible has fired his imagination and he set out intensely studying the Holy
Book with enthusiasm, devotion and faith. He rapidly became a committed intercessor
for the great and famous, and for good causes such as persecuted Christians overseas
as well as those in authority. He soon realized that there were too few Christians
who had not read their Bibles from cover to cover. It became a fundamental part of
his ministry to encourage those needing help through his writing. Cardinal believes
that the Lord has truly blessed him spiritually in a most generous way and he hopes
through God's abundant grace to share with others in his Christian work and daily
living, his sense of faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ.
